May is almost finished, and from everyone here at Battle Creek Montessori Academy, we want to thank and congratulate our community on the end of what was another fantastic year. As that final day of classes approach, things haven’t slowed down at our school. May was a month full of happenings at BCMA, and we wanted to take a look back as our students continue to finish strong.
The first amazing thing going on at Battle Creek Montessori Academy was a trip to Albion College for the Orca Room. Students visited the Albion College Track to support their classmate Taylor as she participated in the Special Olympics.
A May in Michigan also means that Spring is finally upon us, and we took advantage here at Battle Creek Montessori Academy. We took our students out into the sun for popsicles and a dance party. It’s always such a joy to get outside of the classroom, and our students couldn’t agree more.
The last thing we wanted to highlight this month was the amazing scientists in the Flamingo Room. All BCMA students have watched our caterpillars transform into beautiful Painted Lady butterflies this spring, and the Flamingo Room released them just last week.
This month has been quite the trip at Battle Creek Montessori Academy, and we know that without our amazing staff and families, none of it would be possible. Though the school year is nearly over, we know our BCMA family is forever. Stay updated on how you can stay involved with us on Facebook, and have a wonderful Summer!
