Dear BCMA Community,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as your new School Leader. My name is Ryan Culey, and I am from the Grand Rapids area, where I have cultivated a deep appreciation for community and education.
Outside of school, I find joy in finding new adventures with my wife, Megan, and our new puppy, Parker. My personal interests include reading, golfing, home renovation projects, and playing pickleball, activities that keep me energized and inspired.
Professionally, I am a proud graduate of Michigan State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Early Childhood General and Special Education. Continuing my commitment to learning, I recently completed my Master’s degree at Michigan State University in K-12 Educational Administration, further refining my skills and knowledge in educational leadership.
For the past six years, I have dedicated myself to teaching Kindergarten and First Grade, where I have been fortunate to contribute to the growth and development of young learners. Throughout my career, I have actively participated in building-wide teams, collaborating with colleagues to ensure every student’s success.
I am thrilled to join BCMA, a Montessori school, as your leader because I believe in the transformative power of Montessori education to inspire, empower, and shape the future leaders of tomorrow. Together, at BCMA, we will create a community where every student’s potential is nurtured, celebrated, and realized.
