The Learning Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP) at BCMA is an after school program that allows students to engage in a variety of exciting and challenging activities that include academic enrichment, sports, visual and performing arts and much more throughout out the school year for free or low cost.
Each activity is structured and designed for children in different age groups. Activities are sponsored by BCMA staff or community members that have volunteered their time. All activities are from 3:30 to 4:30, Monday through Thursday. We have three sessions of LEAP a year and the activities vary with each session, offering children more opportunities to explore what interests them.
In the past we have had activities such as Thai Chi, Scrapbooking, Rocket Club, Music and Dance Exploration, Cheer Club, French Club, Stomp the School, Healing Arts, Storytelling and Puppets, Choir Club, Creative Arts, Basketball Club, Fitness Club, Book Club, Yearbook, Recorder, and Mad Scientist Club.
In addition, Battle Creek Montessori Academy had a relationship with the Community Music School. We offer private musical instrument and voice instruction after school in our media center. Parents are responsible for the $20/lesson fee, but generous financial aid is available. Please contact Dinah Vaden (269.963.1911×2585 or email@example.com) if you are interested!
